Hi, I am Aleyda Baubert.
A few years back my whole family converted to the Catholic religion (my husband and I, and our two kids who were 8 and 3 at the time - I am currently working on a book to recount the story). There is so much I want to share though as we continue to learn about the beauty of the Catholic Faith that I decided to create a blog. Why les losanges? I like the shape of a losange (spelled in French to honor our French culture), it has 4 points like a good base, reminding me that the Catholic Faith is the basis of our lives. It looks like a diamond, which reminds me of the treasure it represents for us and for all those who decide to accept it. Finally, it sounds like “the angels” in Spanish, reminding me of all the Angels that have appeared to us in reality and in dreams to help us navigate and guide us toward the love of Jesus and God. They are sometimes like hidden or invisible diamonds that we don’t realize are there. They are a conduit for God’s love, and we strive to be the same.
